Estimated time: 3 min · Difficulty: beginner
Overview
Walk a new user through creating a KYXO account and understanding what happens next.
Anyone who needs their own KYXO login.
Before you begin
- A work email address
- An invitation, or an organization that allows self-signup
Steps
Open the sign-up page
Go to your KYXO URL and choose "Create an account" (or open /signup).
Enter your details
Provide your name, work email and a strong password. KYXO checks the email format and enforces a password-strength policy as you type.
Submit
Submit the form. If your organization requires approval, your account is created in a pending state.
Verify or wait for approval
Depending on your organization, you may verify your email and/or wait for an administrator to approve your account.
Expected result
Your account is created. You either land in KYXO immediately or on a waiting-for-approval screen that lets you in the moment an administrator approves you.
Tips
- Use your work email — it helps administrators recognise and approve you.
Troubleshooting
- The page says my email is already in use.
- Use "Sign in" instead, or reset your password from "Forgot password".
- My password keeps being rejected.
- Use a longer passphrase mixing upper/lowercase, numbers and symbols.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an invitation?
- Not always. Some organizations allow self-signup with approval; others require an emailed invitation. If self-signup is disabled you will need an invite from an administrator.
- Can I sign up with Google or Microsoft?
- If your organization has enabled social login, you will see those options on the sign-in page. Otherwise, use email and password.
